Have you reserved your seat? This train is leaving soon, and it’s the only one.
Battle of the Titans is about to commence between Google, Facebook and Microhoo, and the winners will be small businesses. On the start line:
- Google owns Content
- Facebook owns Social Engagement
- Microhoo doesn’t own much, but wants to
On the finish line:
- The New Business Internet – a place where business to business interaction is enabled with a perfect storm of information, relationships and search combined.
- Something else? We haven’t seen it yet, but there will be something to help handle transactions - maybe eBay or PayPal.
This new world will completely disintermediate many of the brands and channels that dominate today’s markets.
Small businesses will shine through with their better value and focus on relationships, and lower costs of course.
But only the ones who start staking out their place now.
We’ve posted a whole bunch of articles in the Front Office Box blog Business Internet category explaining what we’ve discovered and what we think it all means for businesses in the next decade.
All Aboard!
