Gareth took us sailing on Lake Michigan in the evening. The sailing wasn’t great (no wind, which didn’t bother me) but we had a fabulous evening watching the sun go down over the Chicago skyline, from Lake Michigan.
After a picnic dinner with a beer and a glass of wine we watched the firework show from Navy Pier harbour. Our spot was almost under the fireworks as they exploded and that’s quite an experience.
Hopefully we’ll get a chance to do it again.
