So Typically Scottish

in Internet Marketing

The roads in the Central Belt have effectively been closed for 24 hours. A few inches of snow yesterday morning brought the entire area to a standstill.

Almost a full day later people are still stuck in their cars having spent the night out in frightening low temperatures.

Somebody has even called in the Army to help clear paths for emergency services. This is desperate, but not unusual.

Typically the Transport Minister when offered a chance to apologise to the public refused to do so. He claimed the response of the transport services to unexpected extreme conditions had been first class.

This band of snow wasn’t forecast – he claimed.

Just a few minutes later the weather forecaster reminded the country of the weather warning issued 10 hours before the snow started.

These politicians and public services providers are mostly plonkers who couldn’t get a job in the private sector.

Maybe that’s why there aren’t any in Scotland?
